My Story
I was born in Brazil, the youngest of eight kids, and my Mom was an amazing role model for me, using her time strategically and enlisting all of us in running the household. We lived there until I was 18, when my family migrated to the United States.
I'm a very engaged mom to two remarkable sons. While raising them, I built a successful 26-year practice in dental hygiene. I also operated a natural home care products business for over a decade. Friends would constantly ask how I juggled it all and still prioritized my own well-being and happiness. I don't claim to be a Superwoman, but I finally realized that there was some "secret sauce" to my approach. That was the inspiration for this book.
I live in Northern California with my husband, and my two sons are now in college, pursuing their career goals. They've both helped me in the creation of this book. I love spending time with my family, taking nature walks, participating in my community church, and of course--cooking.
